1. Payment methods
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX), PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. For our European clients, we also support Klarna and Bancontact.
Assomma.com offers a fast purchase service, which allows you to save your payment methods details for your furture orders.
Payment information security is our piority, which are through the most advanced technological coding system (SSL) and Shopify-powered checkout.
2. Payment charges
Payment is usually processed in two steps:
- authorisation: the customer's payment details are verified and the order amount is reserved
- acquisition: the reserved amount is transferred from the customer’s account to the Assomma account
By default, payments are pre-authorized when the order is placed and captured as soon as the item is shipped.
3. Shipping times and costs
We provide global shipping.

Please note: Due to courier and customs restrictions, delivery may not be available in some countries.
Standard shipping is complimentary for orders over 150$.
You will receive a tracking number as soon as your parcel has shipped.
Deliveries will be completed during business hours from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays.
If the parcel is not deliverable on the first attempt, the courier will attempt to deliver it another two times.
All orders are processed automatically and associated to the selected shipping method.
It is not possible to place orders with a shipping country that is different from the country you have chosen for navigating the website.
Shipping is DDP (delivered duty paid) for all countries requiring custom taxes, due to the unavailable countries.
4. Processing time
As a small team of artisans, we hand-stitch each item to order to ensure the highest quality.You will find the specific crafting timeline listed on each individual product page. We believe that true quality is worth the wait.
5. How to track your shipment
You can track shipment of your order via the tracking number provided in the shipping confirmation e-mail.
If you are a registered user, you can check the status of your order and the tracking number under order status in your account.
6. Choose shipping or delivery date
Unfortunately, it is not possible to choose a specific date and time of delivery.
7. What happens if my leather product is damaged during transit?
Every shipment is insured. If your piece arrives with structural damage, contact us within 48 hours for a priority replacement or full refund.
8. Does Assomma offer carbon-neutral shipping options?
Yes. As part of our Modern Naturalism philosophy, we partner with Planet to offset the carbon emissions of every delivery at no extra cost to you.
9. Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?
You can modify your address within 12 hours of ordering. Once the item has entered the craft-finalization stage, we may be unable to redirect it.
10. Why is my shipping taking longer than expected?
High-quality natural leather requires specific climate-controlled transit. Occasionally, customs or weather may cause delays, but we will keep you updated every step of the way.
